KAMI

KAMI

a cut-out stop motion

My final year film, KAMI follows 2 brother's dispute over who gets imaginative control of their playtime. Ibi, as the older of the 2 has always been the natural leader in dominating their playtimes. This time, Dodo is determined to have his imaginations heard. * Use of 2 different paper craft (Quilling and Origami) to represent each brother's different imagination style.

KAMI both means 'Paper' in Japanese, and 'Us' in Malay

This is amazing! I used to do quilling as a kid and I'd totally forgotten about it, I love the use of it in this animation :)
